Ingredients
- 300g plain flour
- ½ tsp quick yeast
- ½ Nigella seeds
- ½ tsp of Bishops weed seeds
- Luke warm water
Instructions
- Mix the yeast with the flour, Nigella seeds and Bishops weed seed.
- Add a cup of water and knead to a dough.
- Cover with cling film and leave in a warm place for a couple of hours.
- Once the dough has risen, divide it into four dough balls.
- Heat a large frying pan to high while rolling out the dough balls, one at a time.
- Lower the heat to medium and brown each naan on both sides.
- You can add butter, ghee or olive oil onto the naan once it’s off the heat
Notes
- Serve with any curry or Alu tikki
