In other baked good news, from this Saturday Brett and Bailey will be at the market EVERY Saturday. Joe & Matt were the very first stall we signed up – they had dreams of becoming full time bakers & we’re very proud of how they are realising their ambitions. In their own words ……
“Joe says “Big news from Brett & Bailey: from now on you’ll be able to find us at the market every Saturday! And yes, that mean sticky buns for breakfast every weekend. Come and join us. On this week’s stall, the last taste of summer collides with comforting autumnal flavours. Three big hitters are back – roll up for our pecan-studded double carrot cake with carrot, white chocolate and cinnamon ganache; apple and salted caramel cake with a generous drop of spiced rum; and those much-missed peanut butter bars.
We’ll also have rose-scented fig and honey cheesecake scattered with pomegranate seeds; chocolate Guinness cake; limoncello-drizzledstrawberry and white chocolate gateau; plum cake with walnut crumble; apricot and pine nut bakewells; mint chocolate chip cookies; and our signature dark chocolate brownies with pecans, white chocolate chunks and fleur de sel.
All this plus handmade jams and our award-winning marmalade; sticky buns by the score; and bomboloni filled with pistachio cream. Need to order a whole cake? Place your order in our online shop by midnight on Wednesday, and we’ll have it freshly-baked and ready for you to collect from the stall the following Saturday. See you soon!”
