Preserves – Creative Allsorts Christine says, ‘Lots of homegrown preserves again this week, the queen of which is apple and mint jelly – I’ll be serving up a limited number of tasters with crackers and cream cheese, so come early!
Also homegrown: gooseberry & blackcurrent jelly (last 4 jars!), rose petal jelly, fig & pimento jam, purple & golden beetroot chutney and nasturtium hot sauce.
In addition, your favourite chutneys, jams, marmalade and mustard & veg stock paste will be on the table. For September expect more homegrown products with plums, pears, apples and courgettes!’ Thanks!”
