Food Bank – what they need

We collect for our local food bank every week and dropping off your donations is one of the highlights of our week. Last week we even had some of Simply Tay’s lovely samosas to hand around – they went down very well!

Foodbank: Giving out samosas kindly donated by Simply Tay

Currently the food bank is low on:

tinned fruit (or fresh apples in good condition);

long life milk;

good quality tinned meat (anything other than pork);

rice pudding;

custard (premade is good, as often this food goes to people who don’t have money for gas to cook).
