Lining up the layer cake offering this week…
•Carrot and walnut cake, studded with raisins, toasted pumpkin seeds and lemon zest, topped with cream cheese frosting and nut crumble.
•Chocolate porter cake filled with rich chocolate buttercream and drizzled with dark chocolate ganache
•White chocolate and rose water sponge cake, layered with rhubarb compote and white chocolate buttercream, topped with candied rhubarb and rose petals.
Elsewhere on the stall we will have…
•Chocolate and lemon loaf cakes – totally moreish with a cuppa
•Mini victoria sponge cakes, filled with raspberry jam and buttercream
•Malted chocolate tarts with crushed malt crumble and ganache glaze
•Blueberry almond bakewell tarts
•Chocolate salted caramel fondant cakes
•Gingerbread gangs in their best spring attire
•Strawberry ‘Eton Mess’ cheesecake with toasted meringue
•Orange scented iced fingers (for the big and little kids alike!)
And saving the best until last…
