NEW STALL Guest lunch – What the Fork (Indonesian) New stall from local lads. Richard tells me they’ll be cooking up “Indonesian satay wrap, with chicken marinated for several days in sweet soy & spices, plus home made pickle slaw, mixed leaf coriander bean shoots, chicken crackling, peanut sauce & optional chilli sauce; Tofu wrap with home made pickle slaw, mixed leaf coriander bean shoots, peanut sauce & optional chilli sauce; Vegetarian spring rolls with sweet chilli sauce.”
What The Fork London is a young street food company set up by two greedy not so Italian guys from South London with a passion for street food. We love going to street markets with its casual dining and mix of freshly prepared foods each with its own take on dishes. So, we decided to create our own! We took months creating and designing an Indonesian based menu with traditional Indonesian street food influences bringing it to South London. We’ve worked darn hard to ensure almost everything is homemade from our pickle to our sauces and we shop from local markets and delis because we want to keep it locally sourced.
Felix (the Indonesian guy) has owned his own restaurant in Hamburg, Germany before moving to London and Richard (the brown guy) has chefed around London for some years.
