Joe & Matt’s cake parade for the week goes like this “Now that Bonfire Night (and the bomboloni) have been and gone, the season to be jolly is just around the corner. This Saturday you’ll get a first look at this year’s luxury Christmas puddings – they’re all handmade with figs and cranberries, lashings of Pedro Ximénez sherry, and fed with VSOP calvados. You’ll also get the chance to snaffle a couple of stollen swirls – rated by About Time Magazine as one of the seven best stollen in London.
On the cake parade we’ll have the welcome return of our chocolate and clementine cake with home-candied peel; ginger and caramelised orange cake; plum crumble cake; double carrot cake; and our favourite apple and salted caramel cake. Plus! Peanut butter bars, indulgent dark chocolate brownies, sticky buns by the score, mint choc chip cookies, generous wedges of pumpkin pecan pie, and our full range of scrumptious handmade jams.
