New season Romney Marsh lamb (meaning it is very sweet) from Montague Farm in a choice of two marinades: a sultry paprika-chilli-coriander or Mediterranean lemon-garlic-rosemary. Both delicious – I took the Mediterranean one on holiday to Cornwall last week and it fed five adults easily and really impressed everyone taste wise. These are on special offer this week – down from £15 to £12 a kilo.
It’s vacuum packed (which doesn’t look so appetising) but it certainly doesn’t affect the taste and it makes it much easier to store & freeze. I’m certainly getting there early to stock up my freezer for the winter months ahead.
