Natural, small scale wines by Wine Scout: Pedro is excited to be bringing is three new wines this week:-
Donatella Vermentino, Torre Nova Salice Salento and Tragolargo Monastrell!
Donatella: 100% Vermentino, 100% Mediterranean fruit and Maremma fragrance, here is a crisp, appealing white that speaks of this unique Tuscan terroir in its natural, unspoilt state. Notes of peaches and wild flowers as breezy and zestful as its coastland vineyards (Tuscany, Italy).
If you fancy a taste he’ll be opening a bottle of the Tragolargo: Dark red colour, elegant and intense nose with fresh fruit, hints of cherries, raspberries and eucalyptus. Solid chunky fruit on the palate but lovely tannins and good acidity for structure and a nice herbal-edged minerality. From the mountains of southern Spain an earthy Monastrell (Alicante, Spain).
