Jason says “We have 3 new potato varieties this week – Bluebell – a good all rounder of French descent; Pink Fir Apple – Another old French Variety. Waxy with a nutty flavour; Arran Victory – A 100 year old variety. Purple skinned and great for roasting.
As we have now had the first frosts the Parsnips are ready and will be on the stalls as well.
Also – 4 Varieties of Kale; leafy clementines; Turnip Bunches; 5 Types of Squash; Spinach; Fennel; Lettuces; Apples and Pears; Baking Potatoes; Cucumbers; Celery; Onions; Leeks; 3 Types of Beetroot; Eggs and much more.”
